Topic: Required Project and Team Leaders Software Testing

 

The candidate will be responsible for software testing activities within the scope of one or more projects. He /She will need to interact with clients and the team during all phases of delivery to devise the test strategy and plan and lead the software testing cycle. They will be expected to provide technical leadership to the test teams and will be responsible for all testing activities affecting client deliverables as per the project processes and guidelines.

In addition, the position requires the incumbents to be able to assist in Business Analysis and pre sales activities such as scoping and sizing of work and proposing technical solutions.

The candidate is expected to be hands on person by nature, must have the habit of taking initiative to improve execution, and should possess strong leadership and mentoring potential.

Software Testing Experience in BFSI Domain.
Experience of tracking defects manually and through tools
Good understanding of principles of Configuration Management
Good understanding of principles of defect triage
Should be able to lead collation and analysis of defect data
Should be quality conscious and exposed to established software development quality norms.
Awareness of CMM or CMMI practices will be an advantage.
Must be proficient in estimation, project planning and management
Awareness of formal methods of estimation will be an advantage.
Must have excellent communication and team management skills
Prior experience of travel and client interaction with North American, Europe and UK based clients will be an advantage
