Topic: LoadRunner Configuration

Hi all,

I am just starting using the loadrunner .. What I want to know is "What is the best configuration for loadrunner"

In
terms of where to install the different component of loadrunner. what I
could understand from reading the installation guide is that 
1-A group of VUGen will be installed in a set of workstations that running the client application.
2-Controller and Analysis will be installed in a different machine.
3-Load Generator will be installed in the server.

Please help me figure out the best configuration for web testing application.

Assume you are communicating with someone who knows little about LoadRunner. •Our Project is a web-based content service that provides news and research material from medical journals and conferences covering specific medical conditions such as Asthma or Diabetes. It targets the global medical community. •Architecture/Data flow We will have SQL server that will store all the contents – articles and news- all these articles and news will be published by our employees as will as registered Drs. We will have another SQL server for tracking the website. Another Mysql server will be served for the website along with a pligg apche server. The website will be world wide and a lot of users will be accessing the site so as a company we target is to deploy our web site with high performance... We want to try the loadrunner with best configuration to see if it is worthy to use it or to find another tool. Our QA team is recently studying the tool and they find it so far good enough to be used.
