Project Name: REDUCTION OF SPECKLE NOISE IN SAR IMAGES

 

Description: 

 

Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) is a coherent imaging sensor. In the communication

Path a special type of noise like speckle noise may add to the SAR Images, due to this noise clarity of the image may gets disturbed.

   In this project we adapt three methods to reduce those kinds of noises, the following are the list of methods. 

 

1. Intensity Summation Method
2. Soft Thresholding Method
3. Homomorphic Filtering Method.
