Topic: Best Black Box Automated Testing Package?

I am starting a new black box testing department from the ground up and have been approved to purchase an automated testing platform for our software testing.

We have a java based app that uses SQL server or Oracle as a backend database and uses crystal reports web viewer.  The app is like an ERP system but very small scale with only 10 modules.

Can you guys reccomend 3 or 4 systems I should investigate and include your favorite and why?  so far my research on the web is all marketing based.  I want to hear from users and about your experience.  Again Black Box testing on predefined requirements based test scripts and workflow is what I am looking for your input on.
