   Analyzing the Test Tree
As
you recorded your test, QuickTest generated steps in the test tree
representing each operation you performed in the Web browser. The test
tree is displayed in the Tree View, the left pane of the QuickTest
window.  In the test tree, you can expand (+) or collapse (–) the steps
under each Web  page. You can expand the entire test tree by choosing View > Expand All. When you expand your test tree, it should look similar to this

For
every step performed on an object, QuickTest displays an icon and
details of the step. The table below provides an explanation of the
first few steps shown in the test tree above.

Take a few minutes to examine the test tree in detail, tracing the steps you performed while recording your test.
