Job Description:

Thorough knowledge in diesel engine performance, endurance & reliability test standards & validation cycles of both Air cooled engines and Water cooled Diesel engines.

Should be aware of the latest industry trends with reference to Diesel Engine emission controls, measurements, testing instruments & Technology

Exposure to CFT working culture, Project management & resource planning

Skill in Problem solving, Exposure to Statistical Analysis & reliability establishment tools

Handling Latest Fuel injection equipments & emission control gadgets

Knowledge on APQP, TS & QS 9000 Procedures

Knowledge on product development Tools such as QFD, DFMEA, DFx etc.

Contacts in the mandatory / regulatory test agencies such as ARAI, ICAT, Budni etc.

 

Desired Profile :

Qualification required: Engineering Graduate / Post Graduate

Specific Field: Engine design & development

Average years of Experience required: 12-15 years for a Graduate Engineer.

Desirable Competencies,

Exposure to Tractor & genset engine applications

Knowledge on Engine components design standards

Knowledge of Alternate fuels such as CNG, Bio-diesel etc
