I need to do some functional testing for a http based protocol, and I think a tool that can test the http protocol should work for this task. This http based protocol is used between two compoents, and I need to run tests with these two components. Does anyone know of any good free tool available for http protocol testing? If not, maybe I can write scripts to send out message and validate received messages. Any clue? My OS is Solaris9. Thank you in advance.
