		Job 
		Description:
		
		The primary 
		responsibility of this role will be in the testing of projects using the 
		AS@R Point of Sale application in Germany and Italy.
		The projects 
		will be to create software solutions for customers in Europe based on 
		industry leading NCR Point of Sale software products. The role of the 
		position will be to provide software testing support to these projects 
		in the following areas.
		• 
		Transition specific solution and customer knowledge and existing test 
		packs/approach from on shore team 

		
		• Software design and specification – prepare test strategy and design 
		test cases 

		
		• Test Management : Assist project manager for preparing test plan and 
		effort estimation 

		
		• Unit Testing –establish unit test readiness position 

		
		• Testing – Rigorous testing to ensure that product meets the business 
		requirements. 

		
		• Provide technical leadership to the other members of the development 
		team, participating in code and document reviews, and coaching other 
		developers on technical issues when necessary. 

		
		• Report and track Defects for resolution 

		
		• Develop test automation approach, maintain scripts and execute tests.
		
	
		Desired Profile: 
		
		Education / 
		Experience Requirements 

		
		Candidate will have a BS and/or MS degree in Computer Science (or 
		equivalent) or related discipline and have 2-3 years of experience in a 
		software development/testing role. 

		
		Roles should include testing software solutions. 

		
		Candidate with prior Retail experience will be preferred. 

		
		The candidate should possess strong Automated and Manual Testing skills 
		and experience and have a deep understanding of techniques involved in 
		preparation of test cases. 

		
		Essential Skills and Experience 

		
		• Testdirector knowledge and ability to prepare and run automated test 
		scripts 

		
		• Understand requirements and prepare test documentation and product 
		documentation 

		
		• Perfect English writing and speaking
