Job Description
Role:

* Develop Test Suite for fax (V.27ter, V.29, V.17, and V.34fax) and data mode (V.22, V.32, and V.34) embedded products.

* Define and develop, test suite and test stations for fax and data mode embedded products.

* Develop test tools for processing and analyzing test results.

* Providing Estimates of System test suite development and regression test activities for Project planning.

* Analyze test results and isolate faults, test failures, update results spreadsheet.

* Develop Test plan for fax (V.27ter, V.29, V.17, and V.34fax) and data mode (V.22, V.32, and V.34) embedded products.

Desired Profile
Experience:

* 3-7 years of validation experience on embedded systems especially on Modem products with good knowledge of various modem standards.

* Knowledge of fax testing equipments like FaxLab is preferred

* Knowledge of various modem standards will be good

*Programming experience in the embedded systems, (Using C, scripting languages like Perl, TCL)

* Familiarity with test equipment, including logic analyzers, oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.

* Having good experience in System Testing activities.

Skills/Expertise required:

* Working knowledge of processor architectures like ARM, MIPS.

* Experience in telecommunication standards/protocols.

* Debugging skills on embedded platforms is required.

* Programming: Good knowledge of C, Perl.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
