Designation     Test Engineer

Job Description     Design, implement, document, and execute performance benchmarking tests for embedded RAID disk array storage controllers, disk drives, host management software and other storage solution components, including evaluation of competitors' performance data. Analyze and report statistical performance data of RAID storage products in a multi-vendor system environment, detect and isolate performance problems, document these problems and work with development engineers across many engineering disciplines to drive closure on fixes. Supervise and direct student test engineers.

Desired Profile     2-6yrs of work experience in computer engineering fields. OS experience in Windows 2000/XP and/or UNIX variants. Strong programming skills using UNIX scripts and batch files, or C++. Background in mathematics or statistics, queuing theory and experience with I/O protocol (Fibre Channel, ATA, SAS) or disk array products, is a plus. Must be adaptable, inquisitive and able to quickly absorb and learn new technologies.
