What do you mean by 'actual format'? The format I have given is valid.
There are lots and lots of examples available. Could not you understand the sample I have given? |

Let us assume that there is a form which has an 'Account number' field and 'Show Balance' button. The requirement is, Giving the valid account number, when you click the 'Show Balance' button, it should show the balance of the appropriate user. If it fails to do so, then below is the bug report.

Hi,
First of all u need to make a sheet of summary like how many issues are there, and issues of P1 priority in that bug/issue list.
For example
Total no of Issues = 10
Open issues =10
Query/suggestion =2
And in the next sheet make the column heading as
issue no, issue title, issue description priority, severity, comments and attachment.

Following are the contents of a defect report. Defect ID Defect desc Test case id Appl name Appl version Steps to reproduce the defect Attachment(if any) Detected by(tester name) Detected on(date) Severity(critical,high,medium,low) Priority(high,medium,low) Assigned to(developer name) Assigned on(date) Status(new,fixed,rejected,canceled,to be tested,fail) State(open,close) Approved by(Team leader, Project leader). Now, take the example of the same bank application. You can do it. |
