Quality-Program Manager ,Senior Consultant -EQS,Member -SEPG / Process Consultant (Deployment)
Locations                   : Bangalore, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mysore, and Mangalore

Responsibilities          :
Program Manager
Conceptualize, define and pilot productivity improvement initiatives across the organization
Analyze organization wide data and arrive at programs for improvements
Define and steer large organization wide process and system initiatives
Engage and partner with Deployment for successful implementation of pilots
Report to Senior Management on status of initiatives
Senior Consultant-EQS
Program Management and execution of Process Consulting assignments for strategic clients, leveraging process models such as CMM, CMMI, ITIL and improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma. This shall include carrying out gap analysis / assessments, making recommendations, developing & implementing process improvement roadmap
Provide pre-sales support in terms of preparation of proposals and making presentation to clients; work with the sales / business development function in creating and converting process consulting opportunities
Manage client relationships and facilitate downstream opportunities for other Infosys service offerings
Member -SEPG
Program manage organization wide change management initiatives
Define and manage implementation of engineering processes and tools
Analysis, Identification of improvement areas at the organization level
Provide support for activities like training, tools deployment, metrics management etc
Process Consultant (Deployment)
Enable projects towards higher process maturity levels, anchor and enable innovations
Drive improvement initiatives through Six Sigma and other means
Drive metrics programs and metrics analysis at business unit levels
Engage with Business Unit Senior Management and Quality Department Senior Management to identify focus areas for developing Quality Scorecard Items, deployment of the same by engaging with stakeholders, and tracking progress / bringing about course corrections where necessary
Understand and bring in world class practices through systematic benchmarking, Study of various Quality and Business Excellence Models and fine tune Infosys practices using the same

Qualification              : Engineering Graduate/MBA (Full-time) / MCA (full-time)/ M.Sc (Math, Statistics, or Physics) from a reputed/recognized University

Experience/Skills       :
Program Manager
Over 8 years experience in software development. Quality and large program management experience would be preferred
Understanding and usage of software engineering metrics
Proven passion to drive improvement initiatives
Tools like Rational suite
Very good communication skills: both written and verbal
People with IT experience may also apply
Senior Consultant -EQS
7 to 10 years of experience in IT industry in the area of software development / project management / software quality assurance
At least 4 years of hands-on Software Quality Assurance or Process Improvement experience in CMM / CMMI / ITIL / Six Sigma based environment
Prior experience in process consulting to international clients would be an added advantage
Excellent analytical, communication, presentation and client interfacing skills
Member-SEPG/Process Consultant (Deployment)
3 to 7 years experience in software development and Quality Management
Experience in CMMi processes and practices
Understanding and usage of software engineering metrics
Exposure to Quality Models like Six Sigma, Deming etc
Proven passion to drive improvement initiatives
