Thats amazing. What you have given is correct. But for point 17 I think you missed out one important thing i.e., Assumptions then comes Risks if our assumptions fails and what is the Contingency plan for the risks.
There is not test plan with out assumptions..since the company will have to face problem if they do not make assumptions in test plan. Plz correct me if i am worng. thanks |

contents of test plan
1. Revision history(To track or summarize all changes to this document) 2. Over view(Project description and purpose of project) 3. Test objectives and Reference documents(Clarify the test objectives and list out the requirement documents that were received during this project life cycle) 4.Testing scope a) Test focus area b) Testing approach(what type of testings are done on the application) c) Machine configuration(Describe what s/w and h/w configurations will be used in testing efforts) d) Load / stress / performance testing are done or not e) Functions not to be tested 5. Risks and dependencies 6. Test derivable s 7. Test environment(Outline the test environment required that adequately simulates the production environment) a) Special testing tools b) Test schedule |
