Effort estimation is nothing but the Time estimation to complete the assigned work . here the entire work is divided into small small work and time is alloted for each work ... and the total of all the small small work will be the "Effort Estimation " for the assigned work .
Estimate the time taken in man hours for each small small work in the sense , Time taken for System Study , To write test cases To execute the test cases written Defect Tracking and finally the Total Time taken for all these activities |
