Job Description: We are looking for experienced and highly motivated Software Development Engineer in Test Lead (s), with broad experience in test automation development for web applications developed using Microsoft .NET. As an SDET Lead, you should possess strong technical and communication skills with proven track record for shipping quality products.

 

·         Owning delivery of fast paced (e.g. monthly releases) test automation project for product groups (~60%)

·         Helping define the requirements and feature sets including by

·         Regular collaboration with test teams and onsite teams through daily phone conference calls

·         Automation requirements planning and tracking

·         Ensuring automation with a team of 3-4 members through work allocation, development, test and reviews

·         Coordination with test teams to ensure fulfillment of test objectives   

·         Leading an automation team of 3- 8 software engineers (~30%)

·         Ensuring project team is trained to deliver on project requirements

·         Ensuring 80%-90% utilization of the resources in the project

·         People management including team motivation, providing feedback, training and mentoring the team

·         Individual and team technical development (~10%):

·         Lead by example by clearing latest Microsoft and CSTE certifications (majority of our developers hold three to four Microsoft Certifications)

·         Become subject matter expert by exploring relevant technical developments and share knowledge with team by taking a technical session (2 hours) every month

 

This is a unique opportunity involving technical lead responsibility with a growing organization (200+ employees worldwide) as part of core technical team reporting to technical leadership.  

 

Qualifications:

·         CS/ IT/ Electronics/Electrical Engineering degree OR MCA (B. Sc. + MCA or BCA + MCA) with 60% or above throughout academics

·         At least 3 years of overall experience in C#, SQL Server 2005, and Microsoft internal tools like EchoUI, MAUI, KAF, and WTT

·         1-2 years of overall experience as module lead/ Project lead with hands-on automation development. Ability to lead multiple projects preferred

·         Ability to author test plan and cases, conduct stress tests, and debug at source level after identifying, investigating, and prioritizing bugs

·         Ability to solve complex problems and write automation scripts

·         Demonstrate skills in negotiation and conflict management

·         Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

·         Prior work experience working with Microsoft Corporation as a vendor or Product engineering services is a plus

 

Experience: 2 years to 5 years

Compensation: CTC 6 – 10 Lakhs p.a.
