Topic: Parallel Testing

   I new in testing . I offer one projecte where exiting system is working(Windows base,Vb.net ,Sql server ) and the company is devolping a new system which web base (ASP.net backhand sql server2005).
Now my job is to perform a test case by compering both system.but i dont know which test templet format i have to use . 
Can any one Help me about this project (Test CASE templet)
