Topic: QA Engineer (Protocols Testing) @Paxterra Solution

 

As an Individual contributor, the primary responsibility will be to Design, develop, document Functional level tests and Execute the tests for Juniper Networks family of IP routers in the areas mentioned below.

Reduce the Interfaces verification cycle time by effective automation methodologies and provide pointers to the team members and improve the efficiency of the team.

Perform functional testing which includes Conformance to standard; Basic functionality coverage; Customer topology simulation; interoperability with leading vendors; Scaling and performance testing; Support Beta customer on need basis

Must possess outstanding problem solving skills in the diagnosis and resolution of customer issues.

The candidate must be able to demonstrate strong proficiency in networking protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, RSVP).

Understanding of standard and third party implementations.

Very Good automation skills, should be good on Perl, Shell scripts, TCL/TK.

Should have very good understanding on testing methodologies, especially in the internetworking domain.
