RESPONSIBILITIES

>Monitor & Advise
Monitor and Advise on how the quality management system is performing and publishes data and reports regarding company performance against set indicators.
>Liaison
To Liaison as Management Representative of the Company for ISO surveillance audits.
Quality assurance personnel liaisons with all team managers and staff throughout the organization to ensure that the QA system is functioning properly. Where appropriate, QA personnel advises changes and the implementation of said changes and provides training, tools and techniques to enable others to achieve quality.

WORK ACTIVITIES

Since maintaining quality demands constant change to meet customer expectations, quality assurance (QA) personnel employ a variety of measures to place quality at the heart of an organization. These include management systems such as ISO 9000, philosophies, such as Total Quality Management, and methodologies such as Continuous Improvement
Promoting quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization
Maintaining awareness of the business goals and objectives of the company and insures all departments are tied to the company's goals and objectives.
Setting QA compliance objectives and ensuring that targets are achieved
Assessing suppliers' and own company's product specifications and customer requirements
Working with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers
Ensuring compliance with national and international standards and legislation i.e considering the application of environmental and health/safety standards
Agreeing standards and establishing clearly defined quality methods for staff to apply
Defining quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff
Setting up and maintaining controls of documentation
Identifying relevant quality-related training needs. Persuading reluctant staff to change their way of working to incorporate quality methods
Collating and analyzing performance data and charts against defined parameters
Ensuring tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated and that product modifications are investigated if necessary .
Writing technical and management system reports
Bringing together staff of different disciplines and driving the group to plan, formulate and agree comprehensive quality procedures
Liaising with customers' auditors and ensuring the execution of corrective action and compliance with customers' specifications
Establishing standards of service for customers or clients
Monitoring performance through gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports.

Main Tasks

>Quality Assurance Independent Authority
>Independent Authority to Liaison with ISO
>To ensure Process Control through out the company
>To initiate Non Conformances to HODs for not complying to ISO standards and records keeping.
>To do a verification and Audit of any records at any given time.

QUALIFICATION
BE / M Tech with special electronics/ telecommunications background.
>Must have proven experience in the hardware telecom organization.
>Must have the ability to drive quality management effectively in a telecom organization providing hardware and software solution & products.
>Knowledge of six sigma concepts and implementation if desirable.

ANALYTICAL SKILLS
Should have the ability to analyze the team activities and lead the team

Reasoning Ability
Should have the ability to define problems, optimizing performance.
