 Profile Desciption :

• Design clear and concise test cases, test scripts, and defect reports.

• Design and perform exploratory testing beyond documented test cases.

• Execute test cases and document results.

• Enter and maintain bug records in a defect tracking database.

• Work with development to troubleshoot bugs and other technical issues.

 Major Responsibilities:

·        Engineer will be responsible to test features of products to ensure they meet design specifications and product requirements.

·        Develop proficiency in performing system operations and execution of tests

·        Responsibilities also include generating test rules and test cases / calendars, generating defects, tracking defects for related product areas and work closely with development to resolve technical issues

·        Required to be able to perform user setup / application / process flow debugging related to individual setup

·        Ability to evaluate and perform root cause analysis on issues in attempts to further clarify defects and determine possible workarounds.

·        Involved in the estimation of work effort.Will be required to guide and direct junior level QA personnel and assist development and other cross functional teams.
