Position: NMS SQA Engineer
Location: Chennai

Job Description

Ø       Define test strategy; write test plans and test cases for all EMS/NMS components.

Ø       Develop automation scripts and tools to facilitate in testing client/server applications as well as regression tests.

Ø       Implement , maintain automated tests that provide feature and performance/scalability

Ø       Participate in defect review meetings and work with development engineers to identify, isolate and resolve defects.

Ø       Document test progress & reports.

Ø       Design and configure the test bed 
 
Major skills required: 

Ø       4 -9 years or more of EMS/NMS test experience.

Ø       Solid understanding of FCAPS functionality

Ø       Experience in data/telecom networking field

Ø       Effective communication skills, flexibility, a strong teamwork approach

Ø       Good testing exp with the following technologies TCP/IP,SNMP,VLAN,IPSec, AAA, LDAP, Radius, SSL PKI, VPN  

Desirable skills:

Ø       Experience in working with SNMP, Java, WebUI and CLI.

Ø       Hands-on development skills with automated GUI test tools such as Silk Test or WinRunner

 Good to have:

Ø      Experience in script language such as  Tcl, or Perl.

Experience: 4-9+ years
