Audit
The existence of secure computer generated audit trails provides a means for verifying and tracing changes to critical records. Audit trails are vital quality assurance tools. For example, secure audit trails can be used to trace unauthorised use of a computer system. TestDirector 7.5 provides configurable audit trails. Fields that have audit trailing enabled will be traced to identify the date / time, user ID and before and after values when changes are made. The user permissions facility is key to controlling access to TestDirector and TestDirector has been enhanced to include an audit log of changes to user permissions.
