Designation DW Testing Lead
Job Description 'Responsible for handling the most complex quality assurance and test environment problems and issues. Acts as a lead in the creation, preparation, and conduct of quality assurance reviews and the development and execution experience including familiarity with testing of test plans and test scripts. Works with client to establish and maintain a consistent test methodology and to automation tools resolve questions during the testing process. May serve as a coordinator for all testing activities on a project. Analyzes, tests, and certifies application-specific software and performs ambiguity reviews of business requirements and functional specification documents. Uses advanced knowledge of applications to provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and resolving highly complex test problems. Researches new products and industry methodologies and facilitates the development of new concepts, techniques, and
standards. Plans and directs quality assurance schedules and assignments, and monitors project status in comparison to cost/time projections. Logs, tracks, and verifies resolution of software and specification defects. Documents all phases of QA process. Directs and serves as a mentor to less experienced staff.'
Desired Profile Lead the day to day activities of the DW QA team
Support test planning based on analysis of requirements and design documents.
Lead the team in the execution of System Testing to ensure all deliverables are UAT/production ready.
Multi-task between current release, install activities, and prioritize task for next releases, be able to handle multiple projects
Monitor and resolve testing issues, escalate to management on potential risks/issues
Develop test strategies, test plans and processes supporting them
Manage testing tasks concurrently on multiple projects.
May coordinate the overall execution of the test plan with group and business representatives.
May research acceptance/production issues, be able to guide team towards resolutions, present options
May act as technical resource to other testers.
Additional responsibilities as directed by the management
Develop standard operating procedures, documents, reports and presentations.
