Essential:
Strong computer science concepts, exposure to bug tracking, test life cycle, manual and automated testing, functional and non-functional testing, test methodologies, Windows OS, knowledge of C and programming concepts, basic PC troubleshooting.

Desirable:
Some experience in API testing and working knowledge of any automation tool like Rational, mercury etc, Quality processes, security domain knowledge, security testing, PERL/TCL/JAVASCRIPT knowledge, experience in performance testing.
