Topic: TD Requirements Question

Can anyone tell me what the Review Status in the REQ's Coverage under
the test plan tab is used for? I am new to Test Director and I have
been told by someone that this status should change based on a test
passing or failing but it looks to me that it is a field for a person
updating it as being reviewed.
