When we start Testing an application, based some scenarios we find some
important information which will be very useful in determining the
app's performance and they provide speccific information about the
individula functions. These parameters are called SQ Metrics. They are
under three heads and they are : -

Measuring Scalability and peformance(Hits/second, Pages/Second, Throughput,Rounds etc.)

Application responses and Avialability (Hit Time, Page Time,Time to first Byte etc)

Integrity and Failures.(failed Rounds per second, Failed Pages per Second, Failed Connection etc.)

I think i had given you a fair idea about them.
