when there are any changes in the technology being used, development
schedules etc, is it waste of time to update the Test Plan or should
update..

Every process and step changes in the Development/Testing process needs to be updated in
the Test Plan. That's why versions for a Plan are used. Infact, in my opinion, it would be a waste of time if the Plan is not updated. Because if the Test Plan doesn't reflect the changes, how would people know what direction to follow and what direction the project is going. It would take more and time effort in figuring out things for the people involved. |
