In any aplication is smoke testing and sanitery testing necessary?

It depends more on the company policy..
As far as I understand both are necesary. Sanity Testing = Its a initial level testing that tests the basic functionality of the application. Smoke Testing - It checks the impact of the software on the hardware. |

Hi, In every application smoke and sanity testing is nessaary.Because Test Engineer starts his Testing with samoke(or) sanity.It is basic functionality of apllication.before this testing developer conduct the Unit Testing. By Srikanth. |
