I am using Load Runner and I have a query on the same. While analyzing the web page diagnostics (Please refer the attached screen shot) I find that the total component download time (represented as "1" in the screen shot) always exceeds the Average Page load time (represented as "2" in the screen shot). Please let me know why these differ.

The Tranction response time represents the average value of the transaction in the entire scenario. LoadRunner Analysis has also "Graph Average" column that represents the average value of the transaction samples that appear in the graph. The later is good when you filter the scenario time from a certain point to another one, then you can see what's the average in this time range in the scenario.You can get more resources from http://www.macrotesting.com - here   like articles , ebooks, applications, etc,..
