         Senior Engineer - Testing/Technical Leader - Testing 

        Job Description
          Testing of protocols/applications/products (messaging domain preferred).

Skills:

SMSC /MMSC/SMPP/UCP 

Experience in SS7 protocol and SS7 based applications. (desirable)

Skillful on Protocol Analyzers/Simulators such as Ethereal and MGTS(desirable) 

Scripting experience using Perl and TCL/Tk 

Knowledge of UNIX OS, Linux, Sun OS, shell scripting and database configurations. 

Must be able to interface and coordinate with developers or  

testing primes to jointly resolve problems and issues 

Good communication skills (Mandatory)

Knowledge of Test planning for preferably protocol  

testing (or Application testing).

Preferred Skills:

Experience in  

testing of messaging products/application/protocols testing is a big +++. 

Key words SMPP , MM7 , MM4 , MM3 , MM1

Experience in SQL 

Experience in Test Automation 

Familiarity with CMMI processes.(desirable)

          Job responsibilities:

Creation of 
testing strategy, test environment and test cases based on requirements and specifications with 24-36 month of experience. 

Designing /reviewing of test scenarios with respect to System Specifications or feature requirements. 

Test Execution, debugging, reporting and fault tracking 

Interfacing and coordinating with development team and customers.

Creation of automation 

testing strategy .
